Spectators are equipped with a virtual reality system comprising a backpack, an on-board computer and a virtual reality headset. Markers are placed on their hands and feet, enabling them to see their limbs virtually. Behind them, the infrared cameras capture their movements in real time. In the virtual environment, the spectators themselves become virtual and take the form of avatars.’
