Sound Particles -3d audio

Hi, My name is Nuno Fonseca, I’m a university professor from Portugal (Europe) and a CAS associate member.

After 4 years of research, I’ve just released “Sound Particles” software, a 3D CGI-like software for audio, capable of using particle systems to generate thousands of sound sources in a virtual 3D world, with support for immersive audio.

For instance, imagine that you want to create the sound of a battlefield. You can grab 100 war-related audio files from your sound library, create 10000 particles (sound sources) spread over a square mile, and render the overall sound with a 5.1 or a Dolby Atmos 9.1 (bed) virtual microphone.

The software was already used on several movies and is under tests in all major “Hollywood” studios, including Skywalker, Sony, Universal, WB, Fox, Technicolor, Formosa, Pinewood, Park Road.

I thought that this could be of your interest (my apologies if it’s not), and feel free to contact me with any question you may have.
